Welcome to Mammoth-San Manuel

Mammoth-San Manuel Unified School District is located in San Manuel, Arizona just an hour northeast of Tucson in the very beautiful and scenic San Pedro River Valley. Our district is the center of a learning community that offers outstanding academic opportunities, competitive interscholastic athletics, enriching after school and summer programs, comprehensive community education programs, and courses offered through Central Arizona College-Aravaipa Campus.

Our district serves students in kindergarten through 12th grade from the tri-community towns of Oracle, Mammoth, and San Manuel. We may be small in population, but we are big on education and provide an outstanding education for all our students.

A Special Message from the Superintendent

Parents, Students, Employees, and Community Members,

Welcome to our new district Web site. We hope this Web site serves to improve communication between home and school as we work together to educate and support the students in our community. Here at Mammoth-San Manuel we are always striving to provide the best in educational practices as well as strengthen the bonds between parents and teachers. We have had a strong start to the year and are looking forward to continued progress. One of the great things about being a bedroom community is we are able to offer our students small class sizes, which translates into student success and achievement. Our dedicated faculty and staff, along with our supportive parent community, are things that make Mammoth-San Manuel truly remarkable.

Regardless of the economic climate of our state, you can rest easy knowing that we will always have your child’s best interest in mind. Providing a quality education is a job we take very seriously.

Take a moment to browse our site. We know it will answer many questions you may have about our district. If at any time you have questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to contact us.

Dr. Ron Rickel
